These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Spide.
By using Spide, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
What Spide is
Spide is a financial wellbeing app that helps users set goals, reflect on spending, and make progress through small actions.
Spide is not a bank, lender, broker, investment platform, debt adviser, tax adviser, legal adviser, or provider of personalized financial advice. Spide does not guarantee savings, debt reduction, income, financial wellbeing, or behavior change.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account, device, and sign-in credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
You may not use Spide for fraud, abuse, harassment, unlawful activity, unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, or interference with the service.
Bank connection
Bank connection is optional and user-authorized. If you connect a bank, you authorize Spide and its bank connectivity provider to access account and transaction information needed to provide the requested features.
You are responsible for reviewing financial information before acting on it. Spide may show delayed, incomplete, or unavailable data because of bank, connectivity-provider, network, or service issues.
Goals and financial decisions
Spide helps structure reflection. You decide what goals to create, what spending feels aligned, and what action to take.
Nothing in Spide is financial, investment, tax, credit, debt, legal, or professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals where appropriate.
Social content
You are responsible for content you publish in Spide, including profile information, goal posts, captions, comments, reactions, tags, photos, and videos.
Do not publish content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, harassing, deceptive, invasive of privacy, sexually exploitative, infringing, spammy, or otherwise harmful. Do not publish another person's private financial information.
Spide may remove content, restrict access, or suspend accounts where needed to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these terms.
Subscriptions and purchases
Paid features may be offered through Google Play or the Apple App Store. App-store purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled through the applicable store rules and account settings.
Spide may verify purchase evidence with app stores to activate or maintain entitlements.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- attempt to access another user's account or private data;
- upload malware or harmful code;
- overload, disrupt, or probe Spide systems without authorization;
- use Spide to violate law, platform rules, or third-party rights;
- misrepresent yourself or impersonate others;
- automate account creation, scraping, spam, or abuse.
Availability
Spide may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may need to perform maintenance, update infrastructure, respond to incidents, or comply with legal or platform requirements.
Intellectual property
Spide, the website, app design, software, trademarks, and related materials belong to Spide or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as allowed by law or with written permission.
You keep rights to content you create. By publishing content in Spide, you grant Spide a limited license to host, display, process, and share that content as needed to operate the app and provide the audience controls you selected.
Disclaimers
Spide is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Spide disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Spide will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or financial losses resulting from use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using Spide at any time. Spide may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for other users, or create legal, security, or platform-policy risk.
